Text Box: ERBEC is an IT and Office Equipment Company, which has been supplying and supporting Computer Hardware, Networks and Office Equipment since 1978. We started in 1978 as a Sales Distributor for Olivetti Products over the years we added a number of additional International Brand Name products to our range. Specifically, for the reason of Technology changes from Typewriters and Word processors to computers. In 1980, a Technical Company was formed (Erbec Maintenance) which today is known as Erbec cc. The reason for this is that our Group of Companies has changed over the past 6 years and various Directors bought the individual Companies from the group to operate independently. The existing members of Erbec are Mr. F. Urbani since 1980 – Mr. W. Urbani since 1985. We have dedicated ourselves to the supply and support of Computers and Office Products in the Gauteng Region with great success. We have a network of IBM and Olivetti dealers throughout Southern Africa through which we support and install our product range. ERBEC installs and maintains small and large network installations, we specialize in Winnt4.0 - Win2000server - Win2003 server - Novell 2.11, 311, 312, 4.0, 4.1, 4.11, 5, 5.1, 6 - Red hat Linux 5.2, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 7.2, 8.0, 9.0 - Linux SuSE 9.2 - Unix etc. We have a department that installs both copper and fiber optic installations. Our accessories department has a complete range of ribbons, cartridges, toner, refill inks, A4 copier paper, invoice paper and drive media for the hole range of products that we sell and maintain.
